I've heard from friends on the banks of the arroyo that the rushing water is now doing major damage. It's heartbreaking really. | -----------------------Re: Arroyo

I am off the beach again tonight, staying at Mariposa next to the art gallery as the office is not livable yet. I left the office about and hour after the big rains and started to turn tight on Perula Sur (next to Palapa Joe's) and quickly decided to not go up that street (even though I was driving a 4 w drive Pathfinder. I went up Concha Molida one block and tied into Perula Sur from there, even then it was sketchy. In front of Mariposa the water was curb high on the left and over the curb on the right. I was actually pondering weather to park there as the water was so fierce it seemed like it was going to wash my car away. Even now I can hear a river outside. Shades of Hernan, but on that one it rained like that for several hours. \ Goodbye Enrique, your ####! | -----------------------Re: Arroyo

The crocodile is now an island with no bridge of any sort. Lots of arroyo damage. | -----------------------Re: Arroyo

So sorry to hear this Steve! Are all of you okay? Did you get off the “island”? My thoughts are with you all! | -----------------------Re: Arroyo

Thanks Stephanie, Was stuck yesterday afternoon & evening. It got quite exciting. Have been able to wade on & off via the sandbar today.Abbarotes are open, restaurants not.Mateo is pretty much closing pending some kind of bridge. Hard to have clients wade to the hotel. For some reason, can't reply directly to your post. Hope your Cali trip is going well. Steve | -----------------------Re: Arroyo
