Thanks! And the beach look is an interesting contrast to the pure sand that some of us get to live with in the winter. ...Sometimes... | -----------------------Re: Got a minute?

Fingers crossed we can once again get down for a holiday to La Man ..hoping for all of March ..imagine it is a usual occurrence for the sea to change the shoreline throughout the year ... is it normal for the rocks to be so prevalent or was this from a storm ? thanks for all your contributions to this message board Daniel | -----------------------Re: Got a minute?

Muchas gracias, Daniel amigo! We've been keeping cool, skating down the days to our long-awaited return to LaManz. It's actually freakin' hot up here in Vancouver, as the forests continue to burn up around us (yikes!). So good to see that cherished beach, but still sooooo sad to hear of Adan's recent passing - we really loved that dear man. Looking forward to Centenario-ing you soon (arriving early Oct for the winter). With love, Jimbo & Linda

The current rocks are from the tidal surge that came from Hurricane (barely) Enrique. The rocks appear every year, and are always due to a hurricane, but normally further off shore and later in the year. Summary of the year so far Page with resources Somewhere in there is a map showing the tracks of the past hurricanes, too lazy at the moment to search for it (Brett would be all over it back in the day). The only thing of note for me (living right on the beach the past 13 or so years) was the rapid change in sea level, from pretty much normal to coming through the office windows in about a 40 minute (or less) time span. Note: I am time challenged i.e. it caught me with my panties down To reiterate. That hurricane (only a category 1) was very close to shore, and when the energy from it rounded the south corner of the bay and came directly at us shit happened really quick, there was nothing gradual about it. | -----------------------Re: Got a minute?
