Hi Lisa. Here's the Primera Plus site: https://wl.primeraplus.com.mx/ I randomly picked a couple of days and they both have the following schedule. There are other bus lines of course, but I think Primera is definitely the better of the lot.

ETN is definately better, bigger seats, more room. Have done Primera a lot but like ETN better. Have fun and see you soon. | -----------------------Re: I’ve ridden them and…

Hey Deano. Does ETN actually have bus service from PV to Melaque? Is this a bus you've taken yourself? I've looked before and also just now on their website and couldn't find that route listed. Haven't heard anyone else mention them before for this route but nice to know if true. I was thinking of Transportes Cihuatlán and Futura when I recommended Primera as being the more preferable, as I've done PV to Melaque with them many times over the years. | -----------------------Re: I’ve ridden them and…

As an aside, When traveling south from P.V. to La Manzanilla, the Primera Plus bus driver will not always stop at the La Manzanilla crucero. It is not a scheduled stop so it is his discretion whether he will or not. However, the Camiones Del Pacifico bus will stop at the crucero for sure if requested. Usually riding Primera Plus means that one would have to disembark in Melaque and then make a return trip to La Manzanilla. Riding on Camiones, using a cell phone one could call a taxi, moto taxi, or friend in advance of arrival requesting a pickup at the crucero. | -----------------------Re: I’ve ridden them and…

Thanks for the info guys. Is there an ETN bus to Barra? I can’t find a schedule. Thanks! | -----------------------Re: PV bus

ETN is my favorite super comodo bus line, unfortunately, they do not run between P.V. and our region, (Barra, Melaque, La Manzanilla). The bus options are Primera Plus, and AutoCamiones del Pacifico. There is a Futura bus that runs once a day from P.V. and arrives at a tienda in downtown Melaque at about +/- 7 p.m, but they have inconsistent scheduling so I would not even consider them. Recently I observed the Futura bus unloading in Melaque and I noted that the bus driver was not masked. It is a roll of the dice with AutoCamiones whether one will get one of the new buses or one of the older buses. AutoCamiones del Pacifico is often derided by those with no or limited experience. Over the last few years, that company has invested in newer buses with all of the same amenities as Primera Plus. | -----------------------Re: PV bus

Thanks for confirming info re ETN routes, Monty. Agreed about Autocamiones del Pacifico (which I believe Transportes Cihuatlán is a part of) being a roll of the dice. Our last trip with them was on a 2nd class bus that broke down in Tomatlán. Oh joy! Anyways, Lisa I hope this all helps. | -----------------------Re: PV bus

Yes there is an etn bus to barra, from Guadalajara, from Manzanillo, but not from Puerto Vallarta, they do not run that route. "ETN is my favorite super comodo bus line, unfortunately, they do not run between P.V. and our region, (Barra, Melaque, La Manzanilla)."? | -----------------------
