What really unique is that it will make a gif file for you. Also nice is that there are 4 different versions, Longwave IR (acid default), Visible, true color and water vapor to choose from. You can also control the speed of the loop (the + - on the right) and the number of images in the loop using the gear on the left.
What I would really like to see is sites like this and Windy give me the option to go into the past a bit (or a lot), they got the data its just them making it accessible for the general public. NOAA has some past stuff but I haven't learned how to get data from recent events, like say hurricane Norma. I really want to investigate the path of that one and find out why we didn't get a storm surge from that!
