My source disinfects her kids when they come home at the door and then washes their uniforms, daily, as an extra protection! This family had a serious case but is now healed so I totally understand their caution!
As for other cases in the Pueblo, the Delegado tells me they are lowered with only one serious in an older woman at present!
Folks are more cautious, masks are still being worn by many and there is still great sadness at the number of folks that passed due to covid over the past few months, in my estimation at least 15 that I am aware of!
Many locals ask me what I think will happen in this upcoming season and I really have no idea! I get emails and texts asking the same from folks NOB and my stock reply is..if you are cautious where you are in the North..then be cautious when you arrive here….but remember that available health care here might be less available than where you are coming from…in case! No fear, just saying, be cautious and take preventative measures and enjoy the beaches and the locals!
