Re: Where to get a Mexican driver's license
When I took the test a few years ago now, there were 108 questions that I had to study, I got them from a ‘board’ in Ajijic with the answers in English. They only asked me 10 questions, and I had 10 minutes to answer, all done on a computer at the old office. Incredibly I got them all correct in 8 minutes but it was a lot of pressure. I had to go back to the office three times to pick up my license because each time I was there, including the day I took the test, their laminating machine was broken. Things have improved since then, I renewed the license about 4 years ago at the new office and other than not first going into another office on the corner for yet more paperwork, I think it was to have copies made of the paperwork I took, everything was much more organized. That reminds me, I need to see when this second license expires…..groan, another trip there, more paperwork. This country is drowning in paperwork. No test to renew the license tho. Good luck!
