Food for butterflies

The recent storms have wiped out many of the flowers that are the nectar source for the butterflies and hummingbirds. You may have seen many butterflies all congregating on a single flower. You can provide a supplemental food source for them if you like. They enjoy slices of fruit - orange, mango, banana, etc. You can put your odds and ends out for them on a stump, branch, rock wall, or bird feeder. Soon you will be rewarded with their lovely presence. | -------------------Re: Food for butterflies

Iguanas will also take advantage of fruit left out. We used to feed a nice one at our house this way. | -------------------
