Permanent Resident Card
Posted by Mitzi M on September 28, 2021, 9:21 pm
My husband and I have a permanent resident visa issued by a Mexican Consular in the US (Colorado). Once we enter Mexico on this visa, I understand we have 30 days to apply at an immigration office in Mexico to exchange the visa for a permanent residency card. I am finding conflicting information about where we go to do that and the procedures & forms required. Does anyone have experience with that who can guide me? Where is the nearest immigration office that can process the visa exchange for a card? I see from other posts there is an office in Melaque but don't know if they handle this type of procedure .... Thanks! | -------------------Re: Permanent Resident Card

Hola, Mitzi. Yes, the Immigration office in Melaque can process your applications for permanent residency. The office telephone number is 315 355 1179. The clerk, Citali, is very helpful. Cruz | -------------------Re: Permanent Resident Card
