Mark your calendar 📅 Set your phone alarm ⏰ Saturdays from 8:00 am - noon will be a weekly gardening event at the Middle School Garden Project (Proyecto de la Huerta Escolar Secundaria). Stay for a little while or the whole time. Come late or early - anytime between 8 & 12. This Saturday everyone is welcome to mark and plant their very own plot. Vegetable seeds will be available (likely carrot and lettuce) and Peter will prepare some beds so a lot of work will already have been done for you. Peter has been working in the gardens every morning and you can rest assured your plot will be watered. Dress appropriately - i.e. closed toed shoes & gloves - and bring your own water to drink. If you do not wish or are not able to help out physically, please spread the word and encourage youth to come. AND there are many other ways you can help out without being in the garden. Just ask! Hey, guy. I do agree with you that cutting the garden grass is the hardest activity I even do. I couldn’t help thinking about different ways to resolve this severe problem but one day I glanced all Internet and finally found the site where you can buy artificial grass. I consider that’s a great solution for this issue just because it’s not necessary to care for this weed. So I think it will be a good idea to cope your irritation of that problem. | -------------------
