Tomorrow (Saturday's) Nia class "Waka Waka" incorporates lots of African music and movements and will include the song "Jerusalema". "Jerusalema" created a world-wide craze as it is a dancing prayer from South Africa for deliverance. Here's some children in Africa doing their fabulous versions:
Nia is in the spacious open-air palapa at Casa Luz, 75 Boca del Rio 9:30-10:30am, Saturdays and Tuesdays Bare feet or indoor shoes only please All welcome! 100P suggested donation

I'm afraid that I'm temporarily housebound after testing positive for COVID. Until I get a negative test result, my wings are clipped. : ( | -------------------Re: "Jerusalema" at Nia tomorrow

It's wonderful to have such an exuberant, growing class! To ensure that all participants can face me with enough space, class size will be capped at 12 people for everyone's comfort. To facilitate this there will be a bowl of 12 stones inside the entry gate to Casa Luz. Please pick one up and bring it with you to leave on the Nia sign-in table upstairs. If all the stones are gone when you arrive at the street entry, that means the class is full. Nia starts at 9:30am Tuesdays and Saturdays, so coming a few minutes earlier to sign-in and get your mat and blanket will also ensure that we start on time and clear the space for the following class. Gracias! | ------------------- |
