There are dime size or smaller nearly invisable clear to blue colored jellies out there. I don't think everyone reacts to them the same way. For example, I can swim with a group of people and will be the only person stung. The stings itch for a few days but sometimes turn into welts. When i first get stung I put vinigar or lime juice on. Then I use a cortisone cream on them. Good luck.
