Mabe stove

I've been having problems getting the oven to get hot. At it's highest setting it gets up to 350F or 150C. It takes about an hour to get that hot. If I also light one or two top burners, the oven drops to about 275F, and the top burners are also wimpy. We had a similar oven at our rental last year, and had to turn down the water boiler to bake. We have about 55% left in our rooftop gas tank. The oven is a base model, I don't even see any thermostat. It seems like there just isn't enough gas getting to the burners. Anybody have any expertise along these lines? Uninformed opinions also welcome. | -------------------Re: Mabe stove

Last year the house cleaner after cleaning behind the stove, pushed the stove back too close to the wall pinching the flexible gas line restricting the gas flow resulting in an oven that would not get hot enough. Maybe check your gas line. | ------------------- |
