could talk about for quite some time.
"but you shouldn't expect someone else to summarize or provide
links to or otherwise feed you the information posted daily
on La Manzanilla Life....."
I don't expect that, but its like your saying if there is something
on a website that is interesting I shouldn't expect someone
to link to it and should just read the website for myself. The idea
of links is to share what we find as important so others don't
have to find it on their own.
A little message board history. Back in 2000 the goal of all
message boards was to get as many users as possible. I broke from
that and started a two year long battle of getting those who did
not live in La Manzanilla to use the Melaque and Barra message
boards. The goal was to limit the number of post and replies to
information that was about La Manzanilla posted by those who
lived here.
That policy is still exist (for the most part). If there is something
on the Barra or Melaque board it can be mentioned here with a
link to the source, and anyone can go to those boards if
they choose to. I know that others link to the LM board, you
can tell when the message count gets up around 300 +.
Personally I would like to see a Spanish version of the message board,
it would give those who want to break away from Facebook an option.
A moderator would find it would be a big challenge moderating the
LM board if Facebook did not exist.
Edit:
"You can quickly check that one FB group ,,, then clear your browser".
You have to do a lot more than clear your browser to get rid of the crap
Facebook puts on your computer, you have to run a program like CC Cleaner
minimum. I wear two condoms whenever I go on Facebook
https://www.mycleanpc.com/delete-facebook-tracking-cookies.html
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download
For the in experienced best thing to do is buy a new computer and
never go on Facebook or call an exorcist.
