A few days prior to the posting I had been to the by then pretty much dead garden and harvested, lettuce varieties, tomato, basil, arugala and other seeds, which hopefully would be better acclimated to the local soil, water and climate than the imported seeds.
When is the seed=saving workshop for this growing season? I and I believe others would attend such a workshop gleaning knowledge and putting a few pesos in the garden fund. If you generate too many seeds, making lemonade from too many seeds could be the "seed money" for the newly "sprouted" garden' seed sales enterprise.
Is the garden selling bedding plants this year? There is usually a request for vegetable starts that NONE of the local viveros offer. A huge niche to be filled.
