I first heard of Enrique around 12 pm today, I didn't think much of it until I got back to the office and checked the NOAA Hurricane center and saw the projected path, which is just to the west of us.
I'm not much of a worrier, 5 minutes at a time is the motto I strive for. But quite suddenly I found myself projecting into the future to Monday and wondering what preparations I should be pondering, considering that I live right on the beach and such an event can have serious repercussions.
It reminded me of the worry box. The worry box varies in size from person to person but its always full. When something like Hurricane Enrique comes along some of the things I may have worried about get pushed out of the worry box by Enrique. Once Enrique has passed they return to fill the void and keep the box full.
Its a way of describing something called prevelance induced concept change which is fun to ponder, but not as preferred as say tonight's sunset and quick rain storm.
